ST165 Body Kits and Styling
For
those who like to set themselves apart, here are some things you can do to
try and create your own style.
This is the only kit that we know of that will bolt on to ST16x chassis without modification. The first picture is of the complete kit. It was originally designed to make the body of the ST162 celica more wide and aggressive. Since the All Trac is already wide bodied, the front is the only piece of real use. The second picture below is what the front piece would look like on your All Trac. The front nose runs for about $299 at most import body shops. The installation is fairly straight forward. The idea for this kit came from the styling of the Toyota Celica IMSA GTO race car.

Just for kicks, here is a picture of the original TRD body kit for the Toyota Celica. For bit of extra change you could pick up your "new" celica with this "wild" body kit straight from the first time you drive it off the lot. Some have expressed interest in the rear wing, but this kit or any replica is not available as far as we know. It used to be offered by Kaminari.
Hood Vent
One of the more desirable mods that rarely happens is to have a vent in the hood. The engine bay gets extremely hot with a combination of hot turbo plus compact spacing. Other turbo cars have vents in the hood, but this one doesn't. We can only assume in Toyota's haste to get this car made and out the door, they left out this and other nice features that would have been in place on a commonplace turbo car. Here are some ideas on where you can get a vent for your ST165. Any vent you buy is going to have to be custom installed and molded in.

Supra Euro Scoop
While this doesn't vent air out of the engine bay, it can be used if you do a top mount air/air IC, or used to get fresh air into the engine bay while using 2 exit vents at the rear of the hood to pull out the air. This could be effective in "moving" the hot air away from the engine and out of the vents.
