Caldina swap issues

At the end of this school year when I graduate I am basically getting about 5k thrown at me for whatever I want. So I figured I might look into doing a swap to a more powerful engine.

The caldina 3s was an idea and I was wondering what Issue might arrise
by using it.

Just a shot in the dark, but you might be better off spending it elsewhere than the newer engine. Off the top of my head, added pwr comes from 9.0-1 comp, better turbo, ecu, and no afm. All of which you can take care of with the 5k (-maybe the 9.0-1). That will give you alot less hassle, too.

it really isn't worth going for the caldina engine. people have done alot more for alot less with stock engines.

if you are really up for a swap call up toysport (www.toysport.com), look at the engines they offer. ive seen a 3sgte from them that reliably (i mean toyota daily driver reliably) put out 425hp.
...if only i can remember where i found it.
