Pennzoil synchromesh or GM synchromesh friction modifier??
I have a 91 all Trac with 5spd. It tends to grind in second gear, especially when bellow freezing. I want to change my tranny fluid but can't decide what to use? Also I noticed a red fill cap on top of the tranny. Is that where I fill it from? I ask because the manual says to fill using the fill hole on the side?

I run Red Line non-LSD 75w90 in the ST205 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CP ... detailpage.
With the car level, fill in the side hole until it starts to spill out. Thats how you know its at capacity. Takes 5.5 quarts IIRC so it cost me a pretty penny to change out.
