ST185 Weather Stripping / Weather Seals - Options?

Postby CorticalStack » Tue Mar 01, 2016 3:57 am

I've been trying to find some new OEM door seals for a week now; I've found several sites that let me place orders for them but they were all canceled as the parts are discontinued without listed replacements.

Here's the OEM Part numbers:
Hatch: 6788120100
Left door: 6238220072
Right door: 6238120072

Failing finding Toyota OEM parts, does anyone have any suggestions for aftermarket options that might work? I'm at a loss here.

Search for decent ones in a junk yard. That's about the only option out there, aside from convincing Toyota to make them again. I got the last LH door weatherstrip in the world. I had no luck getting the RH one.

For the hatch...I'm sure you could find something from another model that would work. That's a much less specialized weatherstrip compared to the window runs.
