Which heater hoses from Oreilleys? Descriptions confusing!

Postby Justin311 » Thu Mar 02, 2017 5:41 pm

Attached is what Oreilley's shows available. I need the hose from the heater core outlet (nipple on firewall) to the hard water pipe on the engine.

The picture of item# 18922 ($16.99 hose below) seems closest to what I pulled off, however the description says "heater to valve", while the valve is on the other hose that goes to the water neck. Anybody have a reference to which is the correct hose? I have to special order them so going down to the store and matching up is not an option :(

GATES 18715 goes to the heater core pipe without the valve.

I have the Gates hose and the discontinued Toyota hose (87245-2B560) both in hand, so I can say for sure that's the one you want.
