I've been pretty resistant about selling my car truth be told. But its time...
I have a 1988 IMSA that I acquired from a good friend. He picked up the car from another seller and the car had no title associated with it. He didnt want to chase down the work and sold it to me.
I spent the next two months tracking down the original 1st owner of the car, and finally was to able to completely and legally register the car in California.
The unfortunate part is since it was a restored title it shows up as such in California. Otherwise, after taking to a respected body shop, they found absolutely no damage on the car.
Its got some neat history: The car itself was purchased by the gentlemen in 1988 in Long Beach at the Long Beach Toyota event. He bought it for his wife who fell in love with it, and has spent its life mainly in Southern California and now Arizona. The good news -- NO RUST!
