1991 Toyota Celica Alltrac
condition: good
cylinders: 4 cylinders
drive: 4wd
fuel: gas
odometer: 150000
paint color: red
size: compact
title status: clean
transmission: manual
type: hatchback

UPDATE: I decided to relist it as I do not have time for a second alltrac. I decided to keep only one project. Please see the update below. The price has been adjusted for the new issues that recently have been developed.

Quick description: I got this car last September and I drove this car from 09/2016 to 12/2016 for about 60 miles a day, 4 days a week and did not had a single problem. The car runs and drives great, but it will need some TLC given that is a 26 year old car.

The GOOD:
>> The engine was rebuilt in 2008 (previous owner gave me the paperwork), and only few thousand miles were put to the car after the build.

>> The car has the front and rear seats re-done.

>> It comes with aftermarket downpipe and HKS muffler.

>> It appears that the car has been repainted.

The BAD:

>> The speedometer does not work, the car has approx. 150,000 miles. Odometer stuck at 147,xxx miles.
UPDATE: I replaced the mechanical speedometer, but the needle is very laggy. I believe it might something to do with the cluster.

>> The car was involved in two minor traffic accidents. The car has a clean title.
06/13/2001 Rear to Side Collision. It looks like the bumper was damaged and it was replaced.
06/07/2011 Sideswipe Collision Rear-Left Quarter Panel. According to the previous owner it was repaired professionally.

>> Although the car was re-sprayed, there are some spots where the paint is pealing (please look at the pictures). Some other areas include left fender and hood with small paint chips.

>> The suspension needs some love. Some of the bushings are due for replacement. There is a chance that the carrier bearings in the driveshaft are going.

>> The rear-right spring occasionally makes a clunk, according to the previous owner it needs a washer to correct the problem. Did not had a chance to look at it.

>> The A/C needs to be serviced. I changed the compressor, drier and seals. But it only worked for one day. I believe it might be either seals (the new seal kit was aftermarket and they were thinner), or one of the A/C lines. Since the aftermarket is touching the stock heat wrapper of one of the A/C lines. It might be a good idea to either wrap the A/C line or completely eliminate the A/C.

>> There is a tiny P/S pump leak (very common on these cars). Yet, there are no Engine nor Transmission leaks.
UPDATE: New remanufactured P/S pump installed.

UPDATE: 12/10/2017

>> The car developed a whining noise coming from the timing belt area. I believe the one of the pulleys or timing belt tensioner has bad bearings.
UPDATE: New OEM timing belt, tensioner, and pulleys installed. As well as a new AISIN water pump.

>> The car was under an fold up canopy and the strong winds here in California completely tore it up leaving a scratch in the right door and a little bit of the fender.

Be aware that the car has aftermarket downpipe, in California, that's a big no-no. I want to mention that I do not have the original downpipe. I can provide the smog certificate for the title transfer, but after that you are on your own. Tags are up to date.

Serious buyers only please! $4800 OBO. Im currently out of the country, but will be back by the end of the month.

Yes, but it's not for me.
I had a friend interested in it but he couldn't pull the trigger before.
He is very motivated when are you back in town?
Text me, it's way easier if you don't mind.
