Does S53 tranny need pilot bearing or bushing?

Postby pit_celica » Mon Dec 10, 2007 11:14 pm

Hi, I know that some Nissan S13-S14 need a pilot bearing when swapping an auto tranny to a manual tranny.

I want to know if a S53 tranny need a pilot bearing or pilot bushing located in the crankshaft when swapping an auto tranny (U140F) to a manual tranny (S53).

Thanks in advance

Sam

No pilot bearing or bushing.

I don't think any of Toyotas transaxles use a pilot bearing or bushing.
