.well i ended up running the stock gt trans and its working so far

I have wanted to try this but I understand that the center differential is open, meaning that...in AWD mode all the power will be put to the rear wheels since they have no traction(being disconnected) So you would rev, in gear, the tranny would turn but the front wheels won't.

Please explain how you did this and how it works because it shouldn't

i welded the center diff together the diff held up but the diff lock sleeve broke after 400 miles of driving
the locking sleeve is a 90ish dollar part

ok so you didn't just blank of the transfer gear and leave it in AWD mode. I read back in your previous post also that you had welded the diff.

So you are saying that with the diff welded up tight and in AWD mode that the locking collar broke? seems strange, There are alltrac guys out there running some bug HP. I would think that stock the locking collar could handle it all to just the front 2 wheels.
