Does this seem right?

Well i went to Putnam Toyota in Burlingame, CA for a quote on parts.. I asked for basically all the lines going to the turbo and this is what i got.. I feel like im about to get ripped off.. are these normal prices? is there an aftermarket option for these?

This would be my first runin with toyota parts... so any input would be greatly appreciated

Also.. the only thing that seems to be wrong right now is that the oil line connecting the turbo to the oilpan seems to be leaking.. if someone can point out the exact parts i need for that please do..

wow...the turbo oil lines are expensive as hell, im not sure but i would say they seem a little high.

i paid ~$48 for that with no discount, based off the $20 difference on this relatively inexpensive part i would say you should be able to save a good amount by buying them elsewhere....have you checked like 1sttoyotaparts.com or any of the others? (cant remember the names right now :doh: )

which part are you talking about? the actual metal hard line or the rubber elbow that connects to the oil pan?

from the looks of it the hard line.. but the on the car when i bought it, it has a custom adapter so its just a braided line from the adapter connecting it to the oilpan to another adapter after adapter that connects to the turbo.. ill try and get pictures tomorrow

I did a search on that site that you gave me and this part number says its for a 91-93, but clearly i have a 88, is there another part number?

my experience was pretty good with them, good prices and fairly quick shipping.

Yeah i put them in and their list price was 40 bucks cheaper than what the other guys quoted me.. thats not even including the discounted price.

I second this site, I go there all the time when I need parts. Which unfortunately is happening entirely too much lately. Regardless Roger in the parts dept. is awesome. I swear the guy could find the part number for a cotter pin burried in the bowls of you car.

i have an 88 too, that hose is exactly the same.
