Installing a bung for egt gauge
I was advised that the best place (most logical) is on the #3 manifold port (leanest) and about 1 inch from the head.
I was wondering if the bugn could be installed with the manifold on the car or would I have to take it off to get it done? If I leave it on would I risk damaging the turbo?

When you drill the hole into the manifold, some of the cast iron will drop into the manifold. This stuff could get into your turbo's turbine section and cause havoc.
