idle problem

was driving down the road, and the car felt like it was hesitating a little bit until i gave it more gas. pulled into driveway and reved it up and it will rev up to about 2k rpm with a little gas and bounces off like a rev limit. also when i give it a little more gas, all it does is pop, sort of sounds like a misfire, but i am not sure. if anyone could help me out, i would appreciate it. Thanks.

noticed one of the wastegate tubes fell off, would this be the cause of the problem? I just want to get some ideas on what i should look for before i start working on it.
