1990 BGB Info

I know that there are a few threads out there about the BGB, but I'm looking for specific information about the 1990 manuals.



The above pic of the 1990 alltrac supplement (Pub # RM176U)
For some repairs it states to also refer to the 1990 Celica repair manual (Pub # RM149U), which is this~


So I get a little confused because I know that the manual below also exists.

What is the publication number of this manual?
The number should be on the front cover & should look something like RMXXXU.

I think the top and bottom one are the same just different versions? :shrug:
Because i have the same 1990, alltrac book... And the cover doesnt match either of the two!!!

Do you have a pic of the cover?
I'm curious now to how many versions are out there.

I could take a picture if you really want it. But it looks like the top one, but white. Has that top white section with toyota, and red line. then color strip (dont think its that color green) with celica in it, then the bottom half is all white vs. that grey.

Okay the top book is what the new reprints of old manuals look like.

The middle book is the 1990 Celica 184 BGB A.

The bottom book is the old alltrac BGB (looks just like mine.)

There's also a B standard Celica BGB as well.

I can understand your frustration. I've been looking at the 1990 4WD/turbo manual, and in the body section is says refer to manual RM149U for more info, which is infact the manual I am already looking at :shrug:

Basically, i want the information in the 'body' section, so does anyone know of a link to an RM149U manual? (which i'm assuming is the GTS/ST book)
