I made a spreadsheet that calculated wheel offset, backspacing, and how much more width you get from the front side of the wheel for different width/offset combinations. It is in both inches and millimeters. I'd like to share it with this group. Please don't circulate it around: just use for personal use.
(I can't guarantee fitment using the calculator, as it does not really consider other factors of clearance such as tire width/height, plastic trim in wheel well, etc. That's what the above stated thread is good for.)
