ECU!!!!!

Ok. I open up my ecu and noticed that one of the fuse is burnt. Is there a way to repair it or just buy a new one?

I had eprom installed into an ECU once by a TV / Electronics repair shop, maybe you could take
the ecu into them and get an idea of the cost to fix it?

If that was too much id start surfing ebay for a new one.

Was there a problem with it that caused you to open in?

To be more specific. Yes, you have a problem that cannot be fixed by just replacing fuse.

Fuses blow because:

1) Some lame ass previous owner fogot to connect all grounds to factory connections. See also anyone else who failed to document disassembly steps and does not work on vehicles 24/7.

2) Do not feel bad if this is you; we have all been there at some point. Consider it a paid lesson in automotive education. It is how you move on that counts.

3) Become thoroughly famaliar with the use of a muti-meter. This is the last thing most techs learn. Learn it now and reap the benefits.

Not sure what alltrac you're driving, but I went AEM so I'm pretty sure I've got an old ECU from my 91 alltrac that I could shoot your way cheap
