Cobra Tag

I ran across this today. It might be ideal to put one in the car hidden somewhere in case it ever got stolen. Its only for Android and Blackberry though.

I don't see how that could help if it gets stolen?

The tag is a gps marker. So could you not just give the location to the police to track it down?

The description sounds like it just rings, so you call it from your phone and you can hear it.....or am I reading it wrong?

The way they made it look in the magazine was like you could use the app to get the gps location of the ring. It does not read that way on their website.

You guys are right, its only good for short range finding. The ad was a little misleading. Oh well, I guess if you loose your keys a lot this is good.

Using the tag to ring your phone would be very helpful for some people. I know a lot of people that should have one of these glued to their person, and another on their keys.
