Steering Column Wiring Help

Postby velez121121 » Mon Jul 21, 2014 4:30 pm

I just purchased my AllTrac and the steering column cover was taken off with all the wires exposed. One connector has a wire cut off from it, and it looks like it goes to what seems to be a sensor on the plastic steering column cover. My question is what does this sensor do and is it okay to run the car without it? (See Pics)

The sensor thing. What is this for?

That's a cabin temp sensor for the climate control.

That cut wire wont cause any issue with driving the car.

There should be a molded rubber hose that attaches to that sensor.

Glad to hear it's nothing major. Now is there a wiring wiring diagram for the wires in the steering column? I wanna unsplice the alarm control module but don't know what the wire colors mean.

If anyone has a diagram I would greatly appreciate it.
