Lasar jamers are not illegal, only radar jamers. I have the escort passort SR7 with the ZR3 lasar shifter, no tickets yet, been pulled over, but they can never show proof for laser, i ask and the gun says that it needs to be calibrated.

Quite honestly, I haven't heard of a sub $2000 laser jammer that worked and was test-proven. How much was your ZR3?
