Amp questions

Well basically got my gt-four about a month ago, didn't come with a deck since it was imported. Got a deck, but...for some reason the amp does not work, i did read that if you replace the deck you need to replace the amp, i would just like to get some bass going throughout the car. It would be great if i could get some information on how to do this with the stock amp. Or should i just pick up a new one. Also what is the wattage of the apline deck that comes stock.

The stock deck is alpine????

You can hookup the amp to the pre-outs on your new headunit. You need to splice rca cables onto the harness that leads to the amp under the passanger seat. I did it by looking at the wiring diagram and following the pins on the connector. There is a left signal/right signal/one ground they share caleld signal ground.

The stock stereo is made by Fujitsu Ten/Eclipse, not Alpine.
