so i went up to wisconsin today to race at great lakes dragway. i got in 4 runs in about 2 1/2 hours. anyways, the results were less than spectacular because my clutch was slipping, the tires i had on were crap, and my third gear synchros are going out. so here's the info:

1000 12.526 11.457
1/4 14.931 13.609
MPH 94.36 104.79

Run #4 - Rally Battle! (best run, yeah pathetic)

Me vs. WRX STi

R/T .354 .066
60' 2.176 2.067
330 5.655 5.942
1/8 9.533 9.117
MPH 74.14 77.27
1000 12.385 11.826
1/4 14.801 14.126
MPH 93.77 95.48

Tell me what you guys think... I don't see why I shouldn't be able to get into the low 14's. This was my first time so I really didn't think too much I just went out there and raced. Next time I'm going to select shift points and document my times that way I know which ones work and don't work.

You just really need to work on your launches! Try to get those 60 foot's down to as close to 2 as you can. Every tenth of a second you take off here, will net you roughly 2 tenths of a second in your ET.

I just reread it, said you were having some issues, so thats really not to shabby at all. How much boost are you running?

i was running some old ass tires with the stock rims... they're the same tires that were on the car when i bought it 4 years ago, haha. Nitto NT505's 195/50/15's I believe.

And new clutch should help out alot. Being able to launch hard is the key.

yeah, i definitely need a new clutch too. right now deciding if i want to go front mount and ats' td06 kit, or just get a ct20b/ct27 and still have money. those mods should also make a good difference :D

Personally I would go front mount and td06. You can always make more money, right?
