Hmmm, should I really even be posting this?

Road race, Auto X, or the Drag Strip

I appreciate all of the complements guys. :) The car has tons of top end, and I'd like to actually top it out on a closed track/abandoned airport runway or something similar one day. Actually I thought about taking it out to the Bonneville Salt Flats for one of their high speed runs (it's only two hours away), but I'm pretty sure I would need a cage. Although if the track makes me get a cage to run sub 11.5 runs on the 1/4 next season (I have a few friends affiliated with the track who might be able to get me a few freebee runs without requiring a cage) then I just might look into going out there to do a salt flat run anyway...

If you just want to do it once, sign up for the silver state classic. They'll toss you into the 130 mph tech speed class your first time out, but you can always give it the beans, record your own speed, and get tossed from the event.

I know *cough* a few people who have done that.

Lots of fast, loud things.

Sounds like that might be a plan. I might have to look into that... Thanks for the info.

nice trevor

ive gotten mine up to 140-145 pretty much stock though with a boost controller on I-25. your car is scary fast though. i bet with the right gearing, you could 200+ with it. maybe its time to find a RC gearbox and a GPS unit to track your speed :P
^Ted^

went back to the dark side of hondas!!!
(not really, i just own a completely UNmodified 91 civic dx that gets 45+ mpg now)

Very sweet Trevor. When does the new turbo go in? (noticed you were selling yours and upgrading)

One note for you, I am just about done revamping a brand new web site and I will transition the 1/4 mile registry to it. This new one is fully automated so you can post your own data at will (also includes a dyno registry). I will transition your run, but I'll send you the link so that I can link your registry with your user ID on my site. I'm launching Monday, so stay tuned!

Guess I never saw this... The new turbo is in, and I am currently working on finishing up my new IC setup. I have the cage scheduled to go in, in about 2-3 weeks, then the new engine/electronics go in and she'll be ready to get tuned! I'll post some pics in my project thread when she's finished being put together and getting tuned... :)

Man, I wish I could say I was that far along. I still haven't even pulled the stock motor in my car.

When you planning on hitting the dyno.

What's up Rob. Don't have a date set yet. Depends on how long it takes to put in the new wiring harness/ignition goodies/fuel sytem, etc, ect... Probably in the next 6 weeks or so... *crosses fingers*
