My 91 Alltrac Vs 08 WRX

Postby Wicked Toys » Sun Jul 27, 2008 1:33 pm

Me:

Straight Intake
2 1/4 Turboback Exhaust
Re-Chipped ECU
Walbro Pump
Blitz B.O.V
50 Trim CT26
13 psi

Vs 2008 WRX 5-Door:

Intake
Cat-Back Exhaust
B.O.V

Was with my girl friday evening and were heading back to her place when while at a red light a lovely black 08 WRX pulls up. It's two guys and there just giving me a mean look so I pre-assumed they were gonna go. So we went (both of us didn't launch) but my cars pulls hard 1st, 2nd, n 3rd gears which thats where I pulled just past his headlights and it stayed like that till about 85mph. So it was close but a wins a win.

We then pulled up at the local High's store and they follwed asking me questions about my car. All in all he gave me props cause he just bought the car couple months ago and this 17 yr old car just beat him. Also I like that they've only seen a GT-Four on Gran Turismo and never exspected to actually see one on the streets.

But I've always wanted to race both my Trac vs my stock 04 WRX but guess this settles that for me.

Nice :)

Thats suprising though considering the other thread about a Four against a 2006 WRX. Maybe the difference is in the extra 3 psi you are running over the other Four.

Yeah I read that post before, and like I said it was close. I just feel I was a better driver really. Cause I expected to be in the opposite position.

I mean these are the stats I found:

91 Celica Alltrac

(3,338 lbs)
15.3 @ 88 mph
0-60 in 7.2 secs
200hp @ 6000 rpm (7 psi)
200 ft-lbs @ 3200 rpm (7 psi)

04 WRX Sedan
2.0L Boxer 4cyl
(3,085 lbs)
14.5 @ 94 mph
0-60 in 5.7 secs
227hp @ 6000 rpm (13.5 psi)
217 ft-lbs @ 4000 rpm (13.5 psi)

08 WRX 5-Door
2.5L Boxer 4cyl
(3,208 lbs)
14.3 sec @ 93.8 mph
0-60 in 5.6 secs
224hp @ 5200 rpm ( ? psi)
226 ft-lbs @ 2800 rpm ( ? psi)

Nice. Sometimes I think no one would know of our cars if it wasnt for that game. :P

I can't believe these cars beat other cars, mine's slow and it's not broke. There must be a lot of slow people out there.

There are around 10 billion civics and 240's running around the road with a fart can..... These cars can be quick with the correct upgrades and a good amount of money. I took down a cobra this morning and im still at base spring boost.
