Ran my car at the track

Well I got a chance to run my 92 at the track before I rip it apart. The results weren't as good as I expected. I was hoping to get a 13.9 out of it, but didn't get there :(

First pass-
Launched ok, slight bog. Missed 2nd horribly, didn't want to go in at all.

Bogged worse this time rest of the run was ok. Had to slow shift 2nd.

Third pass-
Raised the 2step to 6k and got out a little better. Trans hates 2nd gear shifts, lol.

On the last pass I pulled the log to see what the IATs were at the top end of the track. The IATs at the top end were at 155*f :shock: . The stock top mount cant keep up at all.

Mods on the car:
ATS TD06 20g @ 11 psi
Wolfkatz Top feed rail
85lb injectors
Spec Stage 3 Clutch
AEM EMS (very concervative tune, 18 * of timing @ 11 psi)

get a front mount intercooler and raise that boost!!!! :D

You need the front mount intercooler really bad!

Here is my run with similar mods a couple years ago.

Greddy TD06L2 20G @ 12psi - Stock top mount intercooler; Stock intake, airbox, and filter; stock ecu and fuel system. Full weight.

*EDIT - I thought I had the FMIC on this run, but I still had the stock top mount.

I went back to the track after I installed the FMIC and 3" intake and ran a 13.3 @ 101 mph at the same boost level.

This makes me excited for my TD06, enough though mine is internally gated (doh).

That and I have stock injectors... and no EMS...

yea, cant wait till I can swap the turbo kit onto my 90 and get a fmic on it and give it a good tune. I really want to see what this thing will do on high boost too (28 psi? :) )

I don't think the ATS TD06 will boost that high. I'm going to max out my 20G after my car is back up. It probably won't be until February.
