Ran the new 93

Postby 2of81 » Mon Aug 23, 2004 4:47 am

Went to the track tonite and ran the new bone stock 93. I was kinda disapointed and kinda happy. My nerves were on Red Bull, and my launches showed that in my 60' time.

1.1586 Reaction
2.2156 60'
6.5197 330 Ft
10.15 1/8
67.54 1/8 MPH
13.31 1000 Ft
77.67 1000 mph
15.98 1/4 ET
84.12 1/4 MPH

The times weren't the mid 15's that I was hoping for but when compared to my lighter, gutted cat, cone filter ST165 I am happy. Which did a 15.69 @ 85.71 MPH. The 84.12 vs. 85.71 shows I am doing pretty good with the power in the new car.

So tell me about the Camry, Pat. Both Gary and I own Solara's. Mine is newer though, methinks. Is your's supercharged? They don't make a supercharger form my engine yet. Don't know if they will.

On that day the humidty was 90%, wonder what difference that would make since everybody in the club is bitching about slow times.

Better get ready to pony up some money! Maybe you need a step up before you buy a 10 second All-Trac. You might want to buy an 11 second one first so you can get accustomed to it? LOL!

Well, it that's true, my Solara should whup up on it too. I think it is supposed to run about 15.3@93 or so. But it is a big car and only 225 horsepower.

took Brian Gman Melket for a little spin in the turbo camry, boost was set on low (4psi), can run 15 psi...@ 12psi should be good for 230-240 hp :shoots:
