Tire and Rim questions

Postby Quakefire » Sat Apr 17, 2010 1:41 am

So first question, anyone tired the Toyo Extensa HP Tires?

Second, the car had 225/50R16's on it, the previous owner screwed me over, ignoring my request for new tires in my purchase offer, putting "new to me" tires, which are almost five year old Michelin harmony tires in a 225/55R16 (greater than 3% difference in total diameter). Since these didn't rub at all, chances that I could fit a 235/50R16? I can measure the rims, just not sure how to measure the ofset

Tires should fit just depends on the offset of your rim, which should be stamped on the rim also.
Try this tire calculator once you get all your measurements down and it should help http://www.rimsntires.com/rt_specs.jsp
