17x8 rims on a 88 alltrac?

does anyone have a pic of there celica on 17x8? i was looking at the post your wheels tread but nothing! can anyone spare a pic?

you can fit any tire size that would be able to fit under a 165 with 17x7, which are cheaper and more common anyways.

with the 17x8 you need to check the backspace for rubbing and looks, why not just try them on if you have them.

17x8 OZ Monte Carlo (et35) and tires are 215/45/17 with a slight stretch. They are being replaced with 17x9.5 OZ Futura (et35front/40rear) and 225/45 front / 235/40 rear tires..

I had 17x8 ET 38 with 225/45 tires on my st165 with no rubbing in the front and used 1" spacers in the rear. I have pics on my ST165 project thread tittled " alltracst185's fun car"
st185- HKS exhaust, Aussie mid pipe and custom 3" down pipe, Tial 50mm BOV, HKS 272 cams, HKS adj cam gears, custom FMIC, HKS GT3040, Tial 38mm wastegate, AEM ems, fully built bottom end, RC 1200cc injectors, at 25 lbs and almost complete :D

Where can i get spacers for my 16x8 rims and how well does it handle with them? i got an 86 GT-S...

how are those 215's only a slight stretch on 8's? I have 225's on 7's :shrug:
