Need Advise on New Tires for These Wheels...

I need some advise guys. I am going to purchase these wheels for my st185, and I think I will get Nitto 555 tires with the wheels. The wheels will be 17x7 and I was thinking of getting tires what were 205/40/17. I kinda want the wider look on my car so what size tires would give me that look with these wheels?

Nittos suck.

Well you're lookin at really skinny tires there. You could try 225/40/17 or better yet, 235/40/17 which is slightly oversized.

Tirerack has Fuzion ZRi's and Kumho Ecsta's at roughly 100 a piece in that 235 size. Both of which are better than Shittos.

i have 215/40/17s and id still like em to be a little wider... 225s should do the trick

225's will fit perfectly on a 7" rim. I have 225/45/17 on a 7" rim, they're the Ecsta's supra 712's or something like that. They're ok, they do the job and theyre really not all that expensive. If you have the extra cash though, try to get something better.
