I have a 90 st. my radio wont turn on. when i turn the volume up to max, i can still hear something but its really faint. even when my keys arent in the ignition i can still hear it on. i cant even change the channel. if i turn the volume to min, i dont hear anything. my battery is fairly new so i dont even know. that same day it was workin fine. does anybody know whats up?

Is the stereo the original?
Did you disconnect the battery at all?
If it's the original stereo and you did disconnect the battery, you'll need your stereo's security code to reactivate it.
Have you checked your radio fuse?
You didn't specify if you can see anything on the screen.
Perhaps it's just old and it's telling you that it wants to be thrown in the skip.

well its the stock one and i did disconnect my battery to put in my glow gauges. theres nothin on the screen. it seems like its turned off but i cant still hear the radio but i dint check the fuses yet.
