Just wondering but how do you guys with mods and jdm motors pass smog?? just wondering because im juts going to start doing mods to my car.... feel free to pm instead of posting.

Also, JDM motors are not going to pass since they dont have an EGR system.

what if the egr systems are jb welded on? has anyone done this before?

They are required to TEST the egr system. If the vehicle doesnt stumble, it fails as it means the EGR is defunct. So except for visual, gluing on a fake EGR isn't going to save you.

Personally, I got around it by registering my car in a county that only requires smog on sale of vehicle :wink:
