any one else near san jose?

i got a lot of things i want done to my trac and im not that hardcore do it yourselfer either,,, i tried to search for shops that actually "know" our trac near san jose. but so far, few crappy store that ddnt even know what an alltrac celica is... :roll: so anyone here that nears me know any shop that i can go to? a performance shop specifically. thanks for any help!

SPOTTED!!

it was a saturday october 11th around 8:30 in the morning. on my way to a job appointment, i spotted a midnight blue st165! right when i exit winchester going north on 280... i tried to chase him but it was fast...( i was driving our mazda truck! :p ) so i end up letting it pass by. but after awhile, we were going on the same exit! i spotted the trac again on de anza blvrd! right across 85.,.. exept smog, idk any1 that nears me here in san jose.

Aki at Blacktrax in Milpitas basically put together our car from bags and boxes of bolts and parts. I highly recommend them.

i went to that shop 3 times last couple of months but everytime i go there its either closed or no one is present. i really thought that they were out of business already. :shrug:

finally! ill check it out this weekend! thanks for the info!

and bout the trac that i saw, it has a weird hood scoop! , its not like the rc or anything. i believe its a custom made.. ( really similar to the ones subarus has)

I am also looking for a good shop in san jose. I can do most the work myself, but i need a place that can do Mandrel bending and things like that... anyone know of any besides the previously stated?

DO NOT GO TO SU IN SAN JOSE!!!!!!! he ruined my friends var and did not complete work on another friends st165.

DON'T go to these fucks.
They did a TERRIBLE job on his Alltrac [I bought it and inherited the mess].

For starters
-They cut the ear on the engine block because they were too stupid to figure how to get the transfer case past it.
-They just randomly stuck the shims in the head, didn't bother to get the correct clearance.
-They hooked up the windshield washer fluid hose to the intake manifold.
-Brake line incorrectly installed so it leaked.
-Vacuum lines hooked up wrong.

And a whole bunch more crap. I could literally fill a page with the crap.
