turned out to be "fun ford weekend"
about 500 mustangs, and like 12 imports..lol
only got 2 runs.
bogged of the line on the first run and ran 14.3
2nd run i misshifted from 3rd to 2nd.
not cool. lol
i need more practice on a day when i can get more back to back kinda runs...one run @ 7:30 and 1 @ 10 is not condusive to good results from a noob on the track.

I got a buddy I work with that has a pretty sicko ford lightening that was all pissed that he couldnt make the dragway because the trucks in the shop getting an overhaul. Thing was a 12 second show truck before the new set of mods, now he'll definately be down into the low 11's. Its pretty crazy to watch a truck pull times like that with lambo doors and 20 inch chrome rims.

I dunno, seeem like "slicks" to me ?

Good pics, I looked up the Tirerack info.
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Spec.jsp? ... es&place=2

$118 each ?
I hate payng a lot for tires !

Oh ok, so they are Not banned at NED. :)

With a wear rating of "00"; Can You make the trip up and back without eating up the tires ? :)
I assume you are switching rims up there ?

How come it has a traction rating "B" Less than some Ultra summer tires vs A or AA even ?
Temp is a "C" I have a lot to learn about Tires.

I ran my best time up there on snow tires. :)
They had less grip and slipped even with the AWD. 14.6s or so; pretty stock.

I gave up dragging just after my cltuch did.
110k-miles oem original though, so expected.

You going up again soon ?

yea, i dont drive on them on the street, these are strickly track tires for me.
after paying 175$ ea for the michelin pilot sport A/S that are on the car now, the drag radials arnt that bad...lol
i would assume the B traction is beacuse it has virtually no wet traction.
compared to the falken 512's i had on the car before, the BFG's are amazing.
im hoping to make it up there again within the next couple weeks.
i want to go up on a wensday, supossedly its alot less busy during the week, seems to make sense.
we'll see what happens.
