Anyone want to learn/teach paint and body?

So i know some of you out there are like me and have some alltracs that need a little work in the appearance department. But you spent all you money on go-fast parts...what to do?!!?!

I know! How about we get together with some basic supplies and some old body panels and learn to do it ourselves? With the HUGE cost of paint and body work, thats at least a few grand that stays in your pocket, and your car has a new paint job thats at least better than what you could get done at Maaco.

Comments, criticisms, advice all welcome.

I'm down for it. I've always wanted to learn to paint a car.

May be able to acquire space to sent up a paint booth, Dunno, have to talk to my Dad first (it would be in his yard/driveway)...

i'd be down to but i'm currently involved in far too many projects.
i've got 2 paint jobs to do and then my car again. this time in british racing green.

started a little without you, sanded my hood and fenders down and added some primer. just to get rid of the rust spots.

Awesome man! PM me next time you are going to be doing some work and I'll come over and help out.
Let me do a little research and see if there are some good resources to follow. I always like to have a plan. :)

Hopefully if we start making some progress others will join in once the momentum gets going.
