Anyone want to go in on a parts car?

All,

My alltrac has rust. I figure it will be cheaper in the long run to cut out the panels I need from a GTS rather than paying a body guy to hand make new panels, and ultimately be a better repair. So I've been looking for a cheap GTS shell and was wondering if anyone might like to split the cost to get some parts they may need.

I only need some particular body panels (mostly the rear quarters and a couple underbody patch pieces) but otherwise no interior stuff or anything else. I would need someplace to store the shell temporarily until we can strip it and then haul the carcass off. I figure we could strip everything saleable in a weekend or two and just store the parts (I may be willing to pay for a storage locker for the parts) and haul the shell off to the wreckers so it isn't taking up space.

Let me know if you are interested. If not does anyone know if this area has any pick-n-pull junkyards? These were pretty common in LA but I haven't seen anything like that since I moved to DC. If there's one of those around I may be able to make a deal with them to buy the parts car, pull it to their yard and yank the parts I need and then leave them the rest to sell.

Let me know if you have any other ideas for how I can get the parts I need.

Edit: I sent in a quote request through car-part.com to a local junkyard for both rear quarter panels. Will be interesting to see if it is totally outrageous or reasonable. :|

Thanks
J.

As a follow up to this, I actually found a guy on craigslist that has a GTS parts car out in the country. It has relatively intact body panels except for the front right side where it was hit. All glass is intact. Interior's pretty much gone (seats and such) although it may have some usable dash pieces and maybe rear plastics. if you need some patch panels he's willing to let you cut pieces out of it as long as you bring your own tools and labor.
