by rare occurance and a really weird combination of things such as: locking brakes, crappy tires that pop off the rim, and junk rims, not paying 100% attention to the road, not being familiar with the road, and 40 mph...yes only 40 mph.

parting out...no body parts but everything else minus tranny and trans duct going.

oh and we should add that we both walked away without even a bruise. might be different in the morning but we are fine.

Well,

#1 - that sucks .....
#2 - Racer Jim (who blew his headgasket but made the meet) needs an
exhuast system so maybe he will pipe in and grab it
#3 - that sucks ....

Glad everyone is OK

That's the most important, that you're all fine...

Mon Aug 01, 2005 1:23 am

OMG!!  ..good thing both of you are ok

Mon Aug 01, 2005 1:39 am

damn... I was expecting worse from what u told me earlier willie... I'm glad you too are alright... that's reeeeeeeally not cool... and just to think... it all can change in 2 seconds... someone was watchin out for u 2 today

     for the all trac

*hugs for both willie and chris*

chris, sorry about ur loss

Mon Aug 01, 2005 1:53 am

holy sh*t...glad to hear everyone is okay

Mon Aug 01, 2005 2:00 am

well we figure that someone was watching out for us...thank god.
let's see we rolled once, flipped once, and rolled 2.5 more times. what a ride! aside from that the alltrac held up great and all the safety devices did their job perfectly.

Mon Aug 01, 2005 2:18 am

Damn that sucks :( So how did it happen? I don't get the tires off the rims thing since I see all four on them? I've rolled a car at 37mph before after hitting a curb (was sliding on ice, corrected my spin but not enough traction to prevent smacking the curb) so I can relate to that :|

In other news, tell me when you start to part it out, there are a few pieces I need and it looks like you took great care of that car :( That makes the loss even worse :(

Mon Aug 01, 2005 2:24 am

we are starting a part list now

Mon Aug 01, 2005 2:46 am

God, that makes me sick to my stomach to see that beautiful 165 all crushed up like that. But we're all glad you guys are OK. The front bumper and fogs look like they made it through OK too.....

Mon Aug 01, 2005 12:04 pm

Wow....what a shame....really. Just glad to hear you guys are ok.... That car was sooo nice....I even told him to get a little POR-15 on that rear quarter panel....would have been beautifull!
You guys be carefull out there, we can;t afford to loose any more of these jewels...

ugh...

Mon Aug 01, 2005 1:30 pm

So sad to see....

But glad to hear the two of you walked away from that unharmed...amazing.
