in a bit of a mess...

ok with everythign worked out with my mom and teh seller being back from his vacation im ready to get the alltrac...only thing is i need to drive it home and im not sure if it has a BHG or unseated piston rings. it could be eather one. now with my mechanical experiance i coudlent fix it but if anyone in the area could help me out...i'll pay em some money $$$ cash. if not thanks anyway.

You could sell it to me since I have enough parts at my house to build 2 cars. 2 engines, 2 trans, 2 rear diff, 8 driveshafts and etc..... :? Plus I have a full black leather interior which would look great in a white alltrac. Nobody has that combo.

Towing it would be the "Wise" option.
Then no danger that you would blow anything up.
Got a friend with a truck ? You could rent a trailer
one way thru Ryder or something. It could get Expensive
if you go thru a shipping company ?

If it is jsut a HG, you can putter along, but the
danger is if you pump too much coolant you coudl
hydrolock the engine ? :-(

A head gasket is a PITA with the engine In the
car, so aI have heard. YMMV.

Not sure how bad unseated rings are.
I just kept adding oil when my oil control
rings started to go.
