Thanks Nitro, it was great meeting you and thanks again for the use of the radiator cap!, I have been a "silent" member for many years. I have read a lot of the posts over the years but have never really had anything to add. Alltrac.net is the first place I turn to when I have a question. I usually can find the answer to the question with a simple search! :)
The Alltrac has been on the back burner to the Emod car since i bought it in 2003. This year I wanted to get more done to the Alltrac and give up some on the Emod car.
I have a lot of Celica knowledge since I've owned a 1st gen, a 3rd gen GTS, 3 4th gens one of which was a Alltrac, and the other has a maxed out GTS SCCA street prepared solo car that I autocrossed for 12 years. And last but not least my st185. Also had a 1st gen MR2 and a original Toyota Van :doh:
I plan on being more active in this community where I can apply my knowledge.

If you had to deal with an original Toyota van, you have my great respect.

I missed your join date and didn't realize you'd been here that long.

Your E/mod car is the MG with the rotary right? You need to post up some pics.

I hope Wicked Toys can get that 185 ready for next year.

I think we might have a bigger AT turn out next year.

Kevin is working on his. Hopefully it will be ready to go next year. He and I are going try and make a run up here in WV sometime this summer. You guys would be welcome to join use if you want.

We haven't really discussed yet but I think we're leaning toward late summer (late July or August).

A meet in July or August would mean that I would have to get my AC working :( My Emod car is down as of today. The coarse had a large bump in the middle of the turn and I ripped the left forward link off the rear axle , ooch! :cry: . Nothing a big hammer and a welder won't fix.

Sorry to hear about the Emod car. I bet that was a little bit of a wild ride for a minute or two.

As for the AC, just tough it out like the old days when we didn't regularly have AC. It will be cool enough when you're up about 75 or 80! :D

I've been seriously thinking about putting A/C back in my car. It's going to be a pain to fit the compressor and lines in there with my custom oil cooler lines and oil return from the turbo in that area. Not to mention my intercooler piping is already squeezed in tight.

The humidity during the summer is insane down here. It might almost make all the trouble worth it.

In all seriousness, I've been thinking about fixing mine. It's got a leak in the system somewhere. When its charged, it works good, but it doesn't hold the charge more than a few days. With the hear of summer coming, it would be nice to have it working.

I think I'm just going to wait and do the A/C when I get a new turbo kit. Too much trouble for now.

Going to be working with someone soon to fix my rust area. Then I'll start treating the bottom. Car should be no prob for next year hoping.

And def we can talk about something late summer mike. I'll try to pin point the area I'm talking about and let you know.

My AC works as long a s keep it charged also Nitro! I tried to find the leak but I can't find it!!! :shrug:

Mine works, in the alltrac I just have to figure out how to turn on the compressor with the swapped ECU.

MY AC died in the Z before the meet. I still don't get why.
