ST 205 Speedo Sensor unit Pulse Rate
My son has an ST 185 but has put an ST 205 engine into it. Unfortunately the gearbox has an electronic speed sender unit not a typical speedo connector. He has purchased a unit to convert from electronic to manual to run the speedo but to set it up properly it needs to have the sensor pulse rate dialled into the box. Could any one please advise either what that rate is or where I could find this out. Japples.

Do you mean to remove the complete 205 sender unit and replace with the gear from the 185. and then simply connect the speedo cable

Yes, you pop the ST185 one out of the tranny and push it into the ST205 tranny.
