I am going to be selling my current car to get a cheaper one so i can save some money. I found a 165 thats pretty close and i am considering buying it. The car is mostly stock, it had a racing clutch, HKS exhaust, new axles, springs, radiator, hoses. He said the mileage was 190k, but the turbo and motor were rebuilt at 100k, he said it runs good but needs a tune up. Hes asking 3500. I have an 85 Gt celica with like 260k miles and i rally it when i have a chance, if it is anything like an all trac i think this would be an excellenct car.
Thanks
Austin

I dont mind spending money on the car to fix it, so long as its nothing ridiculous. I just dont want to be stuck with a car payment anymore.

The 85 gt is whole different beast, rwd with a truck engine and very easy to work on. Dont get the all-trac if your used to just taking your car in for maintenence. Its probably been driven hard with all those parts on it and saying the motor was rebuilt doesnt say much. For all you know he went the easy route and didnt even do a complete rebuild just fixed it enough to get her running. I dont know how much you know about cars but your gonna be knee deep in mechanical work with that thing. Its worth it if you really love the car.
