yes i have a wide body JDM 185 and have been modding it slowly as i can afford to, I have nearly owned it a year.
i want to take it close to 300 BHP on standard internals but i'm not there yet,
Must be about 250 BHP now though, i haven't put it on a rolling road yet.
Here's what i have done so far:
Modifications:
1. Removed Air-con
2. Relocated the battery to the boot.
3. Fabricated a panel to seperate the engine bay from the intake system.
4. Poly bushes on the rear antiroll bar.
5. Trd springs & shocks all round
6. Blitz exhaust system from the Flexi back.
7. Trd quick shift
8. Hks dump valve (disconnected)
9. Momo Wheel & TRD gear knob
10. Cold air feed
11. Boost gauge
12. Relief Valve
13. Downpipe
This what i plan to do next:
Oil catch can
Front mounted intercooler
Steel headgasket & ARP Head bolts
better brakes
New wheels and tyres
New Control system
I think i will be happy with it then and i will probaly go for a CS bonnet and bumper too.
Parts i've changed to date:
Clutch @ 119000 Km
4 tyres @ 124000 Km
Samco intake hoses @ 125000 Km
Radiator @ 127000 Km
Knock Sensor @ 130000 Km
Services:
Cambelt Replaced + tensioner & idlers @ 117000 Km
Full service including all fluids @ 120000Km
Interim Service Oil + filter @ 133000Km
Problems still to be sorted:
Slight play in the front UJ of the prop
Noisy release bearing
Diff bush knackered
That sums up my GT4 i am very happy with it.
