i've actually gone 5000...i should probably do it more frequently.
cant take any shortcuts with 125K miles and a turbocharger. :doh:

If you have full synthetic, you can probably go longer. I've noticed that the new BMW's use full synthetic and recommend 15,000 mile oil change intervals. :shrug:

But I prefer keeping clean, fresh oil in the car vs saving a few bucks.

amen to that...since my car's down i won't have to worry about that for now, but once she becomes driveable again... :evil:
