Considering my first All-Trac purchase in Missouri, verdict?

Hey guys, I'm a long time lover of the old school toyotas, but I'm moving back to Oregon soon and an AWD car might come in handy out there. Not to mention I can never easilly disregard a Toyota with low miles, and this is the first affordable All-Trac I've seen around. The owner works at a Toyota dealer and builds All-Tracs on the side, he just swapped in motor and drivetrain that have 11k original miles, he pulled them from a wrecked all trac and has had them in storage for many years. If you prefer the look of the 165s (as I do), then I think you'll agree this car looks like a safe first car. I'm in the same boat with a few of the other noobs I saw, looking for a fun daily driver with that rock solid Toyota durability. I also want pretty good gas mileage, but I couldn't get a solid mpg estimate from the owner. He wants $4000 or best offer, the car is pretty much stock, adult driven, no rust. I'd be really stoked if anyone can share expertise or advise on the 165s, as I don't know anyone who owns one, and haven't seen one in person yet (I don't think they survive midwest winters too well). So if you want to make a friend, hit me up on AIM, etc.
Ben

It looks like it's in pretty good shape. I know a few guys in the KC area who have 185's and 165's and they seem to do just fine in the winter.

Do you use AIM? Are you on facebook? I messaged a guy who moved from KC to Omaha, wasn't sure if it's you.

Eh, nevermind. I guess I'll just save up for a 3TC project out in Oregon.
