Hub, Bushing or other bad?

Postby Borgy » Sat Mar 12, 2016 5:56 pm

Hello, I am having an issue with my back left hub possibly? I am subject to Germany's safety inspection and my 88 Celica All Trac has become my frienemy, I fix one thing and Germans find another problem! The back left wheel has movement left and right, but not up and down. No wheel squeal at all. At first I thought it was the hub, but it looked like most of the movement came from the bushing off the strut arm from the axle carrier. The bushing looks fine, so I am a little stumped? I am going to tear it down, but I would like to order parts before I have it stripped down waiting for parts from the states. Any tips would be great.

If the bushing has play and you need to replace it, may as well buy the kit from GT4 Racing in Poland (seeing as you're in Germany). http://www.gt4-racing.eu/
