Hey I have a 1988 Toyota Celica alltrac and when I rev the engine it bogs down(making me stall sometimes) then goes back up I took it to a mechanic and he said it was a water sensor/the pump to the intercooler does this sound right or could something else be wrong?

The intercooler level sensor probably died a long time ago. You can just short across the pins at the connector to eliminate that error code. Make sure you check the coolant level in the intercooler once in a while though.

Regarding the bogging when revving issue, that sounds like maybe the knock sensor. You could unplug it and see if that changes anything.
