Anyone do a 3sgte conversion into a Camry ?
There is one guy that posts on the MRII board that is doing a build up.

I have pics of One Carmry awd conversion.

I found out recently how good awd is for the snow. :-)

another dude swap a 3s-gte into a 93-96 camry go to this link
http://www.bagdon.com/3sgte/gallery.htm

I believe the 89-92 Camry came with an all-trac model too so did the Corolla, the Previa, the older Tercel, the Matrix, Rav 4 and that is all I could think of now that is in the USA market.

edit: I love the Celica all-trac but if you can do something that is not so normal it could be cool if you have money to convert a car to all wheel drive try something that I have been thinking for awhile now.

3S-GTE swap into a 94-98 Supra with the 4wd tranny so you have an All-trac supra.

Hi Chai

I have seen a few 3SGTe swaps into Camries.
how much power can one put down in FWD only ? ;-)

> I believe the 89-92 Camry came with an all-trac model too

88-91.

> so did the Corolla, the Previa, the older Tercel,

Yup, all the old school.

> the Matrix, Rav 4 and that is all I could think of now
> that is in the USA market.

yup, that is all.

Anything can be done with $$$.
Good to dream. I know I do not have the cash to
succeed at a major projc though.

If you can settle for an Auto, your dream is not so far fetched. There is a 4wd version of the Altezza and a 2jz with AWD ! :-)

Throw on a turbo and you are Done. :-}

There is an Aristo (GS300) v8 as well av in AWD. :-)

https://wfs.bc.edu/melket/Public/Car_stuff/Aristo_v8

Not sure what it would fit in; with its longitudinal v8,
but fun to dream.

The Japanese keep all the good stuf at home.

For the US, there Is the new IS250 av as awd, and the new
GS300 with AWD. (no 2jz though, new v6)

There is No av option for awd and 5speed in the Lexus or Toyota line up ? The new rav4 ? Oh well, I'll keep my ST185 for a while longer. :-)

Any engine should bolt up from the 3s family.
(The 5s as well ?)

But wiring is where the challenge is. :-)
