Nice trac. Any reason for still running the stock MAF?
Thanks. The stock MAF is going away on Thursday when I install my MAPECU-3, in fact I bought it new last year if anyone needs one I'll sell it for 100 bucks.

Very Impressive man ... I love it ... I need to get some leather work like you :notworthy:

Thanks I got the seat kit from leatherseats.com, when I ordered it they told me that they hadn't had an order for the kit for this car in over a decade.

My next mods will be powder coating various engine bay parts, cryo treating my rotors, and building my spare cyl head.

So here is an update of what's going on.

The car has been on back on the road since early august with a street tune. the street tune is OK but there are some holes in the map, so were going to have to put the car on the dyno (its tough to do a fifth gear pull at 125mph in traffic). So the car hits the dyno next Wednesday the 14th at drift office.

Here are some photos and descriptions of what iv been up to the last couple of months.

here are a couple of tear down pictures

progress photos, and yes red calipers do make you go faster  .

Fresh EBC yellow pads and cryo treated rotors

parts back from powder coating, the pics don't do them justice the pipes and heat shield are a graphite color with flake in it so in the sun it really sparkles and everything has a wrinkle finish.

Unexpected mods! my friend sold me two Alpine amps at a price I couldn't refuse. I replaced my single anemic Clarion 250w amp with an 850w mono for my Alumapro sub and added a 450w 4chanel amp for my front and rear speakers. Everything sounds so much clearer at high volume. sorry about the crappy picture, at the time this picture was taken the install was not complete.

Here are a couple of pictures I took the day we did the street tune. At the gas station of course, it took almost two tanks.

I was lucky enough to win a ribbon again this year. For (Best Other) There weren't enough Camry's there this year for us to get our own category so I had to compete with some pretty cool and rare cars.

Yea, so dyno day didn't work out as well as I had planed John wanted to work on it for three or four hours but the car before me took four times as long as it was supposed to so I only got three or four runs in and none of them were that good. One of the runs we got 272ftlbs torque but there are some nasty dips in the fuel map. So right now John is using the Camry as his daily driver while he learns the software a little better and hopefully gets stuff ironed out before the next dyno day. The good news is because I didn't get any time in I didn't have to pay!

Surprise! My car went on the dyno today and I didn't find out until now I had no idea it was going to get dynoed again so soon. This time it went better I hear, 240awhp 265 torque lost 12 hp but gained 20lb feet of torque. apparently the power curve is really smooth, better than it was on the stock computer. John said he should be able to get more out of it with time but for now he said it drives great and feels faster at all boost levels. Ill have to drive it and see.
