Yeah I still receive them in my old email box - though I have since let it go inactive, but everytime it is reactivated I get the GT4 yahoogroups emails.

Was known as tofacojoe back then I think...

I used a hotmail box for the yahoo boards, and hotmail has since terminated the account due to inactivity..

I think Arvin (i could be wrong though) used to own the allwheelmotion website and held onto it for a little bit until he sold off his Alltrac to Pat Posadas, and then he kinda faded away from the scene.. Jose (the current owner of the site) picked up that domain name several years ago.. I want to say around 4-5 years ago and has it pointed to his personal site showcasing his sweet SC build.. that SC site is also several years old..

I remember posting some stupid shit on the Yahoo list. Sort of like some of the noobs post here now. Guess I have grown up with my alltrac. The yahoo list had lots of great information even if the search function for locating i8t was flawed. Wish those guys were still around to share their wisdom here. Well some of them.

@ I think Arvin (i could be wrong though)

? Arvin sold his ST185 & moved back to Malasia, new owner crashed it.

@ used to own the allwheelmotion website

I thought Robert Pina, Fl. always owned AWM.
He had the 'rally prepped,, AC-less ST165.
Moved up to an SC300 (?)

Regards;

Actually, Arvin moved back to Indonesia after Pat bought his All-Trac and did crash it, then bought another one to switch all the mods, but I don't think it ever happened  or maybe it did. Jose Rodriguez was known for AWM and Robert Pina for AT. Here is a link on this car from Wikipedia. ST185 (1989-1993) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Celica_GT-Four

Thats what it was.. I didn't know what happened to Arvin after he sold his Alltrac to Pat, and I wasn't aware that Jose always owned AWM - all this was way back so my memory is a bit foggy, I'm probably confusing a few of the older sites with each other.. :p

Pat has pretty much stopped his 185 projects.. Last time I saw him, my buddy was welding some rock sliders to his 4Runner to go rock climbing..

Arvin actually wrote the GT-Four page on wikipedia, which suits him perfectly - I remember he was very anal about all things related to the Alltrac and was a walking encyclopedia.. Kinda like Gary, but not as laid back..

The list is mostly dead now, maybe a post a week. It's too bad the search function is ass, I'm sure there is tons of great info locked up in there.

There is lots of history from the GT4 list, that would be a fun read for newcomers.

Jose had allwheelmotion.com

I started alltrac.net when someone else bought gtfour.com days before I tried to.

gtfour.com became a user submitted tech database for a couple of years, until the owner vanished. All of that info is gone and now the domain is for sale for nearly $2000 from some web company.

Some of the old crew was Oscar and Perry from FL, fast ST165s. Josh Mclain from CO. Arvin, Pat, John, Dan from Cali. Matt Yates up in washington I think.
