Tons of spam

Can the mods please keep an eye on this crap. Its out of control. Yet if i drop an f-bomb ill be shut down in a heart beat.

We got hit by a spam bot. It started yesterday and continues today with about 100 new spam accounts already created. As a response, I disabled automatic registration. All new accounts now have to be manually approved. This should stop new spam from being posted. I will start the cleanup of already created spam accounts and messages later today.

The mods did a great job trying to cleanup in the morning, but you can't fight an automated software that keeps hitting the forum. Thanks to everyone for reporting the problem and marking the messages!

Yeah, I had to delete a ton of messages and ban a good amount of users and their IPs last night. I imagined it kept going through with other bots.

You can say whatever the "fuck" you feel like, as long as we're all being nice to each other :lol:
