Also, you probably have the 185 harness modded for the 165 chassis.
The wiring harness cover over the head [by the timing belt] is from a 185, not a 165.
And it's usually easier to keep the engine harness and mod it for the chassis.

Doesn't the back word Toyota on the valve comer mean its an mr2?

No, they're all backwards.

There's 3 different valve covers for the gen II 3S.
Reg 185 has a long straight PCV tube.
Homologation 185 has a very short straight PCV tube.
SW20 has a 90* bend in the PCV tube.

I guess they didn't change it because it is covered by the intercooler in stock form...
