Exhaust Manifold

So, I'm finally going to be pulling the celica out of the back of the shop and messing with it again... but dumb question as I dont remember much about the 3s's anymore, haha.

Does the 165 and 185 use the same exhaust manifold head flange? Meaning I can swap a 165 manifold onto my 185 without any problems?

The reason I want to do this is because my 92 Supra is moving the a JZ engine and have the old 7m Bolton Turbo upgrade for it (60-1 and either O or P Trim turbine, dont remember) that I could throw on the celica, but dont have a need for a divided manifold when the turbo is open, so want to switch to the open 165 manifold.

yes they bolt on. I used a 165 manifold with an adapter to a Subaru flanged gt30r for a while on my 2nd gen motor. Keep in mind the 165 manifold is somewhat more compact and will move the turbo location compared to the 185 so it may effect your downpipe/exhaust as well as intercooler pipping. My setup with the 165 manifold+adapter put the location almost back to stock 185 location so its a fairly significant difference.

Ahh, didn't think it'd move it any.. Might just use the 185 manifold then and 'port' it some. Thanks for the replies.
