Need cliffs notes on intercooler swap

So I've got a JDM Gen2 motor and I want to run a 205 WTA on it. I have all the necessary hardware save for a coupler between the IC and TB. I've read in years past that there is some issue fitting the 205 IC.

Can someone give me the cliffs notes on fitment? I can search all day, but before I do I'd like to know if someone has experience with this.....someone that can reply here as an active member of the forum as opposed to someone that wrote vaguely about in 2010 and is now long gone. Easy button.

I did it a while back.
I used a shortened MR2 TB coupler with a 60mm to 50mm silicone reducer to attach the IC to the TB.
Had to cut the mounting tabs off the IC and I cut/welded the pipe that comes from the turbo so it lined up better.
